Valley Design Co. – Our Family History
Located in Carleton Place, Ont., a quaint and charming town on the Mississippi River, Valley Design Company first opened it's doors for business in 1995. The owners — Paul and Donna Sorfleet — were following their dream to build a business all their own, that would provide the perfect venue for Donna's promising interior design career.
During the years that followed, their business grew and employed several different, successful staff people. But it wasn't until their daughter Amber joined in the family business, that Valley Design Co. really started taking off. The resulting combination of the three's extensive talents, education and experience provided the catalyst that launched the interior design consulting and paint retail company into become one of Ottawa Valley's great business success stories.
Now Valley Design Co. serves a large share of the house paint sales market, with customers who often travel distances from their communities; making their store the destination for people with home decorating projects in mind. Valley Design Company's high standards for exceptional customer service has made this family-run company a leading business selling designer paint, home décor and accesssories.
