Amber

Amber quickly proved to be a 'natural' when she joined the family business in 2004. She was already experienced working construction jobs — both renovating and building new homes — in Ottawa and Vancouver, as well as London, UK. Amber takes great pride and pleasure in her design and renovation work.

Amber has an innate talent for coordinating colour schemes, and is certified by Hunter Douglas as a Professional Installer of blinds and drapes. Amber is a great help to clients who could use some assistance selecting which window coverings will suit their rooms best. Amber is an invaluable asset to our family-run company — and our customers!

Donna

Customers find Donna approachable and gracious. Her warm, bubbly personality combined with her qualified, educated approach to design makes Donna's clients feel both comfortable and confident. Donna always puts your project first. She asks a lot of questions, and encourages input from everyone who will be using the space in question. Then Donna puts on her 'philosopher's hat' and explains her observations, recommending suitable design solutions.

Donna also always endeavours to create perfectly-planned-and-executed beautiful spaces. Donna's continuing life-long love for living with beauty is complemented by her voracious appetite for studying history. She has also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Donna's creative talent shines in the shop's many vignettes.


Paul

Paul has built and renovated homes for many years which has given him hands-on experience and knowledge of many building trades. He is therefore able to talk a customer through his or her plans for their project, and he truly enjoys helping his clients make decisions.

Paul's enthusiasm is infectious, and customers appreciate his advice. Clients like knowing they have purchased the right tools and products needed to complete their projects in a professional, craftsman-like manner. Paul also is always curious to know how your project turned out and eager to hear your feedback about his products and recommendations.

Whether Paul's researching new products for a particular application or matching a difficult colour by eye, you can count on his attention to detail. Customers who know this about Paul come in for his advice whenever they come up with a new project idea. Paul well-known throughout our local area as "The Paint Guy."

We can't go away without saying, Paul is the founder of the Maskeraid Parade. Raising thousands of dollars for the area Food Bank.
 

Kimberly

Kimberley’s great enthusiasm and energy gains momentum at the mere thought of shopping…hunting for that special something to finish a room. With a flare for fashion and a passion for design, she keeps abreast of the market’s changing styles.
 
She grew up surrounded by construction, nurturing her ability to come upon a project and envision it completed. She understands space. A people person, she knows the components that will work in your space.

Kimberly comes to us with a Carleton University Bachelor of Arts Degree. She is a Certified Staging Professional Consultant and a RESA PRO member and completed Kimberly Seldon’s Business of Design I, II, and III. She has spent nearly a decade contributing to design projects in residential homes (her own dream home included), commercial buildings, house flipping and custom home building.

Her unqualified attention to detail and her infectious enthusiasm gives her the edge of a pro.
